Hypertext Narratives

Start here or see the diagram.

It all started like this.

Currently, I'm studying to become a paramedic. I'm finishing my second year in this program and even if I finish all my formation the next year, I don't know if I'm in the good field. I don't know what to do.

Choice 1: Finish my formation and decide at this moment.
Choice 2: Redirect me in another program.
Choice 3: No longer go to school and find a full time job.

Scene 1.

We are a year later. I finish all my final exams and I'm happy to know I can find a job, after the reception of my grades. There are many choices available to me.

Choice 1: Apply to become a paramedic.
Choice 2: Apply in another program to change of field.
Choice 3: Take a month to think about it and make a decision.

Scene 2.

I think to be in Pre-Hospital Care program was a bad idea. Now, I want to redirect me in another program. I passed long nights on internet to look for all that I can apply for. I want to apply in a very diffent program. I hesitate between 3 programs and I don't know which one I will prefer.

Choice 1: Apply to become a mechanic.
Choice 2: Apply to become a police officer.
Choice 3: Apply to become a cabinetmaker.

Scene 3.

I take the decision to stop the school and find a full time job to accumulate a lot of money, to leave my parent's home and buy my own house. I only have a complete formation to be a paramedic, but I want to work in another field. So I have to decide in which field I will apply for a job.

Choice 1: Apply in grocery stores.
Choice 2: Apply in pharmacies.
Choice 3: Apply in restaurants.

Scene 4.

I let my Curriculum Vitae in two corporations: CETAM and Urgences-Santé. I think I make a good impression with CETAM, but I'm confident. After 3 days, I receive an offer to start now, from my two choices. I love these two corporations and I don't know which one to choose.

Choice 3: Start to work now in Montréal.
Choice 3: Start to work now in Vaudreuil.

Scene 5.

I'm happy to extend my knowledge and to change my field-of-study. I will apply in another program.I passed long nights on internet to look for all that I can apply for. I want to apply in a very diffent program. I hesitate between 3 programs and I don't know which one I will prefer.

Choice 3: Apply to become a mechanic.
Choice 3: Apply to become a police officer.
Choice 3: Apply to become a cabinetmaker.

Scene 6.

I had a lot of time to think about my future and I don't want to be hired in a job I won't be happy. I still hesitate between return to school in another field or try to be hired for a paramedic job.

Choice 1: Apply in another program.
Choice 2: Send some Curriculum Vitae to be a paramedic.

Scene 7.

I received a letter from the school I wanted to go and I am refused. I'm so desperate I think I will go to let some Curriculum Vitae. For now, I will go to sleep.

Choice 2: Send some Curriculum Vitae to be a paramedic.

Scene 8.

After I found a job, I arrived late the second day. My superior don't tolerate this, so I am fired. I don't know what to do. I only have two choices in front of me.

Choice 1: Apply in another program.
Choice 2: Send some Curriculum Vitae to be a paramedic.

Scene 9.

Finally, whatever I do, the life always bring me to the same result, I think I am born to become a paramedic. I'm so happy of my job. Now, I drive an ambulance, work with the people, hepl them and I like this. With my job, I have a good wage, so I buy a occasion car and a house. I'm always working to find my wife and built a family. This is the reason why I live. All the choice I did bring me where I am now and I regret Nothing. I think I will go to sleep, just to dream about where all my choices start. Good night!

Start again: Go to sleep and dream about the beginning.

Article Summary

Hi everyone, I did an article summary for you related on my program : Emergency Pre-Hospital Car. I chose an aticle that it talking about my my future career, and I found it described the work of paramedic very well. Even if the article is very good, this is just a little part of the information on this work, if you're interested, do not hesitate to search information on my blog or wherever you want. I hope you enjoy my article summary.

Paramedics are on the front lines of care. They are the best equipped for Prehospital care. So, they are best trained to intervene in a place of car accident, on victims of cardiac arrest or other serious health problems. It is an even possible to see them intervene imminent birth. Their work is, in fact, to treat patients, but the goal is to take them to hospital. Once at the hospital, after the paramedics had given a description of the patient's condition, it is then supported by nurses from the hospital. The actions taken by paramedics during the intervention are directly proportional to each training level. There are three levels of training. The first offers the ability to apply bandages on a wound, treat patients in a state of shock or even apply resuscitation. Paramedics have a higher level of training that can do much more than the first level as giving medication by mouth or intravenously, for example. Finally, there are the advanced care paramedics that may pose more medical act and give more drugs. Advanced Care Paramedics were called to the needs of the distributors, who themselves are informed by paramedics throughout the intervention. Such as police and firefighters, paramedics are called in situations where life is threatened. This is a very physically demanding work and especially psychologically. Each procedure is different and no one knows what to expect before the scene of the call. Nevertheless, the fact of helping people gives a great feeling of well-being.

By concluing, this work has up and down, but it is an amazing job !

Thanks for reading my article summary.

The joys of becoming a paramedic.

File:Paramedic cross 01.svg
No matter where you go, there is always an ambulance company that covers the city or region. At least once in a lifetime, it happens to all of us to cross one, from outside or inside, but few people who question the complexity of this work. Being a paramedic is much more than transporting a patient's home to the hospital. Let's see what makes people love this work, be a paramedic.

1. Love to help others.

The first task of a paramedic is to help the population. This desire must come from ourselves and be stronger than anything. Being a paramedic, it necessarily meets people at risk of dying, but it's much more than that. It provides medical support as needed, but we happen to be called for people in psychological distress and need moral support. We go like nobody else in the privacy of people, so it is essential to respect the privacy and understand that it's not always easy to confide in a stranger. So, we have to show understanding and empathy. Those who really enjoy helping others, love this profession for these reasons, among many others.

2. The pride of this possession.

Each person exercising the paramedic profession, can only be proud of. This is a job that is rewarding. We are not a doctor, but we are the first contact with the patient, a medical process, which can sometimes be long. In addition to having a job is to help others, our fomation gives us tremendous knowledge to our lives every day, outside of work. This knowledge can help us face the contingencies of life. For example, a road accident involving us or not. With paramedic training, we can act appropriately, until the medical support service brings help. It is reassuring to say that even outside of work, I can help the people, much less in use, with the equipment, but even small gestures can help.

3. The absence of routine.

Aside from having close contacts with the population, there are other features that make the work interesting. For people who do not like the routine works, become a paramedic is a profession of choice. Nothing allows us to know what our workday will look like. Any day of the career of a paramedic are alike. It's very different from a desk job.

Conclusion

You now have a brief description of the paramedic profession, if you like the outline of the description of this profession, why not get started in this career?
